Car service and repair

Lots of small jobs, every one on track, from booking to collection

Oil changes, brakes, diagnostics, servicing. Car after car, each with different parts and a different customer on the phone. FoxFix keeps track so you don't have to.

What eats up time in the workshop

‘Is my car ready yet?’

The customer rings, the mechanic is under a car and nobody on reception knows where the job stands. Every call like that pulls someone off the work.

Parts that never make the invoice

A seal, a filter, an extra litre of oil. If parts aren't logged against the job, they are missing from the invoice.

Vehicle history in one person's head

When was the cambelt last changed? What did we recommend last time? If only the workshop manager knows, that knowledge leaves when they do.

From booking to collection

  1. 1

    Booking

Create the job with the car and the customer and put it in the calendar. The vehicle's history is right there.

  2. 2

    Check-in

On a tablet, record the mileage, fuel level and number of keys, photograph the car and have the customer sign on screen.

  3. 3

    Repair

Mechanics update the job status from their phones and issue parts from stock against the job. Everyone on reception can see where things stand.

  4. 4

    Collection and invoice

Raise the invoice straight from the job, in CZK or EUR. Czech businesses can sync it with iDoklad, which sends the payment status back.

Questions we hear most.

How does the customer find out the car is ready?

FoxFix doesn't send text messages and has no customer portal. Your whole team can see the job status on their phones, though, so anyone can answer a call in seconds.

Does it connect to our accounting?

On the Profi and Business plans, invoices sync with iDoklad, the Czech invoicing service, including number series and payment status. Other accounting systems are not connected.

Do mechanics need to sit at a computer?

No. FoxFix runs in the browser on phones and tablets and can be added to the home screen like an app. Photos, statuses and the code scanner all work right there in the workshop.

Fewer phone calls, more cars out of the door
